Chapter Three

The toddlers age up, too quickly in Damon's mind.

Much to her parents worry, Isabela grows into a little kleptomaniac.

Upstairs in the nursery, Varric ages up on his own, his parents unable to get to his cake fast enough. This will cause years of therapy in the future, they're sure. But for now, they're just happy he didn't seem to delevlop his sister's case of sticky fingers and is simply a little eccentric.

"Bow down peasants!" Isabela shouts from her perch. "I said bow!"
"Whatever you say, queen pain in my butt." Varric mutters.
"Not a queen, a Khaleesi."
"And mum thinks I watch too much tv."

Damon does the laundry once and finds a gnome, it has begun.

During the weekend, the family all pack into the car and head to the festival. "Are we there yet?" Isabela asks the whole way.

Seems like life was out to get her for being annoying, since she was the only one who's face paint got messed up. Varric laughs and points, and she snaps at him to shut up and storms off.

Mid pout, she runs into a boy named Tyson Lobos. "What's wrong with your face?" He asks as they shake hands.
"Nothing, I'm a ninja turtle." She lies.
"Cool, wanna play soccer?" He asks.
"Yeah!" Isabela grins, the two little athletes running off to play together for the remainder of the afternoon.

Tatiana hasn't written anything in weeks, her publisher constantly calls, badgering her for her next edition. She just hangs up on him, the woman enjoying her quiet days of gardening and painting while the children are at school and Damon's at work. She doesn't think she wants the stress of continuing her writing career.

A ballet bar is installed in the basement for Isabela, she practices everyday after school and soon gets trophies for all her hard work.

Varric struggles with his school work, his mind wandering constantly.

Isabela tries out all the new toys her parents buy them, she's not quite the natural when it comes to cooking.

But the blocks are fun.

Tatiana and Damon ponder what they can do to get Varric off of the sofa, that much tv cannot be good for a child of his age.

So an inventing bench is placed in their basement, Varric is instantly taken with it, television all but forgotten.

Isabela is a troublesome child, setting traps in every shower in the house.

Damon, when not working, helps around the house by upgrading appliances. The gnome approves.

The children play in the basement a lot, normally it's pretty quiet.

While other times....

There was a reason that safety shower was installed.

"You're an idiot." Isabela says.

Notes: A short update, but an update none the less. Varric is constantly setting himself on fire, at this point I'm in Isabela's mindset, he's an idiot. Not a lot of Damon in this chapter, that's because he's always at work, and I'm mostly focusing on the children, they're more amusing anyhow. Tatiana has written 16 books, as of where I am currently in game, which is quite a bit further than this. She makes around 80,000 dollars in royalties every Sunday. So it's safe to say, they have extra money to throw around. I honestly didn't want them to have that much money so soon, but what can you do. I can always use MC is lower their household funds, but the next Sunday will roll around and just bring it back up again. So I'm going to wait until she dies and then lower the funds again, right now I'm just spending like a drunken sailor. Anything they wish for, they get. A pretty sweet life if you ask me.

Chapter Two

With the money they're pulling in, Damon is finally able to afford his book on Charisma. But more importantly, they can also afford to buy some baby books.

The two of them read through the pregnancy manuals within a day, hoping that the insight that the books provide will make their transition to parents slightly smoother.

Meanwhile, the town gives Tatiana an award for making 25,000 dollars in royalties.

The closer and closer Tatiana gets to her due date, the more she's convinced that there is more than one bundle of joy on it's way.

Fortunately, they don't have to wait long to find out.

It's late when the couple brings home their twins, Isabela and Varric.

Unprepared for twins, they do their best.

With the money from her books, the family is able to afford a new kitchen, allowing better meals to be made.

The infants age up quickly, Isabela (the heir) has Tatiana's hair color and ears, but Damon's eyes.

While Varric is a spitting image of his father.

Even at this age, Isabela is loud and boisterous. Slamming the doll down repeatedly against the house while shouting before attempting to bite it's head off violently.

Varric's quieter, playing with educational toys.

Damon is a doting father, splitting is time between the two equally.

In the midst of all the chaos of having two small children, Tatiana finds some solace in a new hobby, gardening.

The children learn to walk and talk, Varric picks it up quicker than Isabela.

Tatiana soon finds that the only time she can get any work done is late at night when her husband and children are sleeping.

Damon may be a busy man, but he always finds time for his children when he comes home from a stressful day.

Even at this age, the twins squabble over everything. Right now it's green verses red, soon enough it'll be ballet verses scouts.

But as as the old adage goes, the family that poops together, stays together.... or something of the like.

Bonus picture, the house gets a second floor added to it.

Notes: So that's two babies, Isabela was born first, so she's the heir. I rolled for her gen, it will be as followed. Single parent, two children, Thief, perfect career and It's so You!

Isabela's traits are excitable and athletic, while Varric's is excitable and couch potato.

Tatiana has published about a dozen books so far and already they have far far too much money, thankfully the house expansion used up a lot of it and once Varric moves out as a YA, he'll be taking a good chunk of it for a house of his own.

Chapter One

Meet the Harper's, a newly wed couple that recently moved from the big city of Bridgeport to the small town of Riverview. They met in university, both having the excitable trait, they knew in their digital sim souls that it was meant to be. Love at first sight and all the jazz.

They have a small starter home on the river, next to some cherry trees.

Damon Harper is a business man in the making, he hopes to one day run the corporation. Of course, to do that, one has to start at the bottom, which is more than a little annoying to this ambition sim.

Tatiana Harper is a hopeless romantic at heart, she hopes to write books that move and stir the emotions of the masses. And yes, that is her natural hair color, thank you very much.

While Tatiana gets on the computer to register as a writer, Damon bikes into town, Riverview is very scenic.

Damon wanted to buy a book on Charisma, but the inflation is ridiculous, so he leaves without his book.

While muttering about the insane prices, he runs into a man that he finds out is a co-worker. They chat about work for a while and become fast friends.

Across the way, Tatiana is officially licensed as a professional writer.

It's late by the time both get home, Tatiana, never having used a kitchen before her her life, if wary of the stove and decides to play it safe by making a salad for their first meal in their new house.

Over dinner, she lectures Damon on the proper way to wash the cutlery. Tatiana is a bit of a neat freak, and cannot stand it when things aren't done right.
"You know what, just let me wash the dishes." She tells him, rather do it herself than possible use an unclean fork.

The next morning, Tatiana is at it again in the kitchen, feeling braver, she is attempts to make waffles. Damon cannot wait for her her kitchen experiment to be done, he'll be late for his first day of work. So he settles for leftover salad for breakfast. His ride arrives just as a the waffles are done, Tatiana didn't burn them, which shocked both of them.

With Damon at work, Tatiana is left on her own to work on her first novel, a scifi thriller entitled 1948.

Damon gets off of work at 2pm, he pays the bills with his promotion money. Just as he knew it would, the man is moving steadily through the ranks, soon enough he'll be in charge.

He walks into the house to see Tatiana stuck the computer. "How long have you been on that blasted thing?" He asks, being hunched over a keyboard all day cannot be good for her back.
"Hmmm?" Is the only reply he gets.

Waltzing into the room, Damon pulls his wife from her chair and into the kiss, the woman too surprised to give him any flack. "You're too beautiful to be stuck behind a screen all day." He tells her.

It takes very little persuading to get her into the bedroom.

That night as they sleep, Tatiana has strange dreams that involve teddy bears, blocks, baby bottles and tiny shoes. She also wakes twice to vomit.

Tatiana fears she may be pregnant, which for someone in their financial situation, could be a very big source of stress.

The morning as Damon gets ready for work, he's completely oblivious to his wife's midnight bathroom woes.

Tatiana's stomach issues persist.

Meanwhile, she finally finishes her first book and is published.

She gets a large cheque and is promoted three times, being excitable, she reacted accordingly.

That evening, Damon is reading when Tatiana walks in wearing loose clothing, a worried look on her face. Her suspicions had been right.

She breaks the news of her pregnancy as gently to Damon as possible.

To her surprise, the man is happy.

"But how will we afford a baby?" She asks him as he touches her still flat middle in gleeful anticipation.
"We'll manage." He assures her. "We both work, this kid will have everything it needs, don't you worry about it." He grins.

Tatiana smiles as he pulls her into an excited hug, that was exactly what she needed to hear.

Notes:  Not much to say, the start of the legacy is moving along nicely. The roll for this generation is in the sidebar, but if you missed it, it is; Couple, 2 Children, Business, Author, Perfectionist and Runs in the Family.

Tatiana's traits are bookworm, artistic, excitable, neat and hopeless romantic.

Damon's traits are ambitious, charismatic, excitable, lucky and good sense of humor.

The family trait is going to be excitable, not a useful trait, but a funny one. For the perfectionist goal, Tatiana is going to perfect the painting skill, I would go for writing, but I honestly don't think she can write 200 books. So I went with the easier one, what can I say, I'm lazy. I rolled for heir, and their first born will be it.
