Chapter Seven

Damon tries his best to connect with Isabela, the man doesn't know the first thing about body building, but he does his best.

Isabela ignores her father in favor of her waffles.

Later on that day, Tyson shows up, Isabela is swept into a kiss the moment she opens the door.

Things progress.

The two chat after they make love. "So, when do you want the wedding? I was thinking leisure day would be perfect, everyone will be available."

"Wedding?" Isabella cringes.
"Yeah, ours." Tyson says, like it's the most obvious thing.

Isabela moves to get up, her back to Tyson. "Ty, I don't think this is gonna work."
"What?"
"This, you and me."

"What are you talking about?" He asks, getting up as well, faced with an irritated Isabela.
"I'm not marrying you Tyson."

"That's just not me, look, what we had was great, but I think it's time we end it."

"What the hell are you talking about!?" Tyson snaps. "This is how it's suppose to work Bella! We're suppose to get married, that's what everyone does in this town."

"Well excuse me for not being like everyone!" Isabela shouts back. "But I don't want that, I have plans, dreams."

"So do I!" Tyson argued.

"I know, but mine don't involve you." Isabela said, Tyson reeling back, like he had been slapped.

"You bitch." Tyson swears.

"Leave Tyson." Isabela tells him in a low voice.

Downstairs, Tatiana pretends she didn't hear any of the fighting, and instead just makes something for brunch.

Meanwhile, Damon finds a caveman gnome at the consignment store and brings it home.

The following days after her breakup with Tyson, Isabela feels sick. At first she convinces herself she's just working out too much, or it's her conscience. Which is ridiculous, since she knows in the back of her mind, she doesn't really have much of a conscience.

Eventually she cannot deny any longer that she's pregnant.

For some reason, the pregnancy has brought on a bout of fretting over what her parents might think about her life choices. Should she have married straight out of high school like all her friends had? Like her brother had? Darlene and Varric are married and expecting their first child together.

Damon assures her that no matter her choices, they love her, and will support her and her baby.

Maternity leave is long and boring, part of Isabela worries that she'll be a horrible mother and considers giving the baby to Tyson to raise. But that's just ridiculous, everyone knows the man dislikes children.

"How's the little one doing?" Tatiana asks one afternoon, placing her ear against Isabela's middle. "We're all excited to meet you baby." She says to her daughter's baby bump.  Isabela chuckles before sobering. "Mom, you're really not disappointed in me?" She asks.

"I'm really not disappointed in you." Tatiana assured her, pulling Isabela into a hug. "Each person is different, just because you're not doing what everyone else is, doesn't mean you're a bad person Bella."
Isabela smiles against her mother's shoulder, she didn't know why, probably hormones, but she really needed to hear that.

Notes: I'm trying to get Isabela to have twins, mostly because I don't want her to have to go through any more maternity leave. Also, Tyson really does have the dislikes children trait. I had to move him in via MC to get the scene with him and Isabela done because every time he came over, he left like 2 minutes later. Once they broke up, I moved him out into a nice house, you know, to cushion the blow of ruining his dreams of marrying his high school sweetheart.

Chapter Six

The day before her birthday, Isabela contemplates her reflection, wondering how adulthood will change her.

She doesn't worry too long, there's a brother's ass to kick at video games after all.

One last family dinner with the children.

The day of the twin's birthday arrives, yet they do nothing different.

Varric's couch potato-ness seems to be catching, Damon spends a lot of time watching tv as well.

With about a half a dozen species of perfect plants, Tatiana can finally call herself a master gardener.

Soon she finds herself in the kitchen backing birthday cakes, she can hardly believe her babies are about to become young adults, seems like just yesterday they were in cribs.

Varric ponders his wish before blowing out the candles.

And finally becomes a man.

Isabela puts less stock in wishes and just cheers for cake, yay!

To her parents chargin, her rebelliousness does not seem to falter any as she ages.

While the rest of her family goes around the rest of the evening cleaning up, Isabela unlocks one of the unused large rooms and sets it up for herself, seems she's not ready to leave the nest, but she is ready to leave her childhood room at least.

Again!?

The next morning, Isabela and Varric graduate. Varric is valedictorian and voted most likely to never leave the house, while Isabela is voted most likely to get arrested. She laughs at her ribbon and hangs it with pride in her bedroom.

Poor Varric, even as an adult, he's not safe from his sister's teenaged pranks.

Eventually the computer is safe though, and he gets a job with the police department and moves out. The news of his and Darlene's immediate engagement comes as no surprise to his parents, while Isabela just scoffs.

The evening, Damon and Tatiana get old.

The house is under Isabela's reign now, most of the rooms will suffer a redesign, the living room is the first.

Isabela gets a tattoo to celebrate her new found freedom, the tattoo artist gets a little too close.

Meanwhile, due to her amazing athletic prowess, Isabela is award an honorary degree from Sims University.

What can she say? They're not wrong. She joins the criminal career and is instantly promoted to thug, they know talent when they see it. Her boss Dallas, Darlene's older brother, takes an instant liking to Isabela.

In the kitchen, Damon contemplates grandchildren.

Notes: So that's generation two started, which is single parent, two children, thief, perfect careers and it's so you! Tatiana perfected the gardening skill just hours before the twins aged up, for a while there I was worried she wouldn't get it done and I would fail on the first generation. SP married Varric and Darlene within 24 hours of him being out of the house, babies will probably follow quickly no doubt. I wasn't sure about giving Isabela the honorary degree, but figured she had eared the points, why not use 'em. Besides, I tend to have problems with the lower levels of the criminal career, the sims will go to work but then stand outside the rabbit hole and not enter. I'm hoping with Isabela starting out at level three, I might not get that glitch. Isabela's entire trait list is, excitable, athletic, rebellious, kleptomaniac, commitment issues and her extra one from getting the degree is hot headed. Varric's traits are, excitable, couch potato, eccentric, genius and brave.

Chapter Five

Isabela and Varric share a room, in the morning they both spend time in the phone to their friends. Isabela's friend Tyson Lobos aged up the same time they did, and they're still close. While Varric has a crush on a girl named Darlene Shallow.

"What's the answer to number twelve?" Isabela badgers.
"Do your own work Bella." Varric sighs.

Twin flirting. Double plus!

Isabela gets her first kiss with Tyson.

While Varric gets his with Darlene, seems both will have dates to the prom.

Isabela strikes again.

Damon has been wanting a hot tub for a while, he finally buys one during his one of his spending fits that have been brought on thanks to a midlife crisis.

Both teens ask their parents to teach them to drive, but since there's only one car, it's a race to see who gets it first.

Varric wins.

Instead Isabela hits the treadmill, she's in the sports club at school and has to be in tip top shape if she wants those trophies.

She also finally tries her hand at real baking, gone is the kiddie oven, now she has a whole kitchen worth of appliances to fiddle with.

The more things change....

The more they stay the same.

Sigh.

Prom night arrives. "Calm down you nerd." Isabela says to her overly excited brother.

Middle age has really hit Damon hard, Tatiana is starting to worry about his mind slipping already.

The weekends are for pajamas.

"Bro, we need to talk about those suspenders."
"What's wrong with suspenders?" Varric pouts.
"Everything." Isabela says.

Isabela likes to jog after school.

At the community garden, she causes chaos by pulling pranks.

Stealing.

And mining public property, with what she thinks is her brother's best invention yet.

The rest of the family is blissfully unaware to what Isabela gets up too on her jogs.

Notes: Isabela is a little spitfire, she's constantly setting off pranks autonomously, the whole house is one blinking red dot. The teens will age up in the next update, and Isabela's generation should take over if not then, the next at the very latest. I know it seems like I'm moving through the generation quickly, and I guess I am, but truth be told, I'm not taking as many pictures as I should really, I get into the game play and then forget I'm suppose to be documenting their lives lol.
