Chapter Four

With her new found freedom, Tatiana goes running to the very farthest corners of Riverview in search of special and rare seeds to plant in her garden.

That evening the house is broken into, the robber panics when she sees their alarm.

Varric roars in frustration at being woken on a school night.
"Calm down son." Is all Damon says, too amused to really chastise the boy for shouting.

A cop arrives to apprehend the robber.

She's not so easily apprehended, after a scuffle she gets away.

The next morning, Varric's entire outlook on the world has changed. "I'm going to grow up to be a big tough cop, just like the one that was here last night." He tells his sister. "Uh-huh." She hums. "I am!" He insists.

"You realize to be a cop you have to actually be active right? A couch potato like you would hate it." Isabela says, but it goes in one ear and right out the other with her brother. Varric has his mind made up.

Isabela likes to spy on the neighbors.

The weekend brings with it a day outside for the entire family.

By dinner, everyone is very tanned.

Isabela eventually mastered the toy oven, no longer does she burn simple muffins. Now she can make cakes, pies and brownies. This may look like a simple pie, but really, it's perfect.

It's a full moon the night Tatiana ages up to adult.

Thankfully, time is kind to her.

Upstairs, Damon ages up as well.

Middle age brings with it some unforeseen hair growth.

Meanwhile, Tatiana's garden starts to grow coins.

One afternoon she gets a call from the chiefs at the bistro, they want to share special gardening secrets with her in exchange for excellent produce. She highly doubts their stories of planting cheese and eggs, but goes home and tries it anyway.

Youth is fleeting, to soon it's the twins birthday.

Varric gets a cake this time.

Isabela grows up rebellious.

While Varric is now being called a genius, only time will tell if either will live up to their traits.

Notes: The challenge is going along well, I was worried about the Perfectionist roll, because Tatiana will not paint masterpieces, no matter how often she tries. So I've decided she will attempt to perfect gardening instead, she's already level ten and has mastered two challenges, the last one is harvesting 75 perfect fruits and vegetables which I think she'll be able to do since she has quite a few perfect plants growing in her garden. Varric really did get the wish to enter the law enforcement career the night they were robbed, I gave him the LTW even though he's a couch potato. I figured once he's out of the house, it's SP's problem, not mine, so why not. Plus I thought it would be funny to have one sibling be a cop while the other a criminal.

  1. Oh man, I loved the unfortunate hair growth when Damon aged up!

Good luck with the perfect gardening! I don't know why, but I've always thought gardening was incredibly hard!

I love that Varric wants to be a cop & his sister wants to be a criminal!
